When our founder Eric Ling graduated from Ohio State during an economic downturn, he quickly realized his engineering degree couldn’t take him where he wanted to go. A quick trip to visit his brother in California gave him an idea. There were bubble tea shops springing up everywhere along the west coast, but very few in Ohio, and having grown up in Taiwan, Eric knew bubble tea.
We opened our first location in Columbus’ historic North Market in 2005 with a vision to impact the lives and health of our customers one drink at a time. From our cold pressed juices, to our fresh fruit and vegetable smoothies to our irresistible bubble teas, we fulfill that vision everyday. And now we’re looking for like-minded, driven franchisees to bring Bubbles to more markets who want to own their business, supplement their income, and ultimately grow their wealth with a bubble tea franchise.
